Terms of Service

These terms of service apply to the use of the Rove platform ("Rove", "the platform"), a private, reviewed network connecting brands, agencies, founders and independent experts. By creating an account you accept these terms.

Rove is a curated marketplace. Members can present services, discover talent, post jobs, book consultations, negotiate offers, sign agreements and manage projects and payments. Rove reviews every member and every published service before it becomes visible. Approval is at Rove's discretion; there is no entitlement to admission.

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• The information in your application and profile must be truthful and kept up to date.
• Accounts are personal and may not be transferred. Organisation accounts may be managed by authorised team members.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.

Applying to Rove is free of charge. Certain features require a paid Pro membership, which is offered inside the platform after approval. Prices, billing intervals and included features are shown before purchase. Paid memberships renew automatically unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period. Paying for a membership never guarantees approval; if a paid application is declined, the membership payment is refunded.

Agreements for services are concluded directly between the members involved. Rove provides the technical infrastructure for offers, contracts, milestones and payments but is not a party to these service agreements, unless explicitly stated otherwise. Members are responsible for fulfilling their contractual obligations, including taxes and social security contributions.

Payments on the platform are processed by Stripe. For funded project steps, Rove charges a platform fee plus payment processing costs, which are shown transparently before a payment is confirmed. Payouts to service providers are made to the payout method stored in the account after the relevant milestone or project step is approved.

To protect all members, contact between members must take place on the platform. It is not permitted to share contact details such as email addresses, phone numbers or external messenger links in profiles, applications or messages before an agreement is in place. Rove may review and block content that violates this rule.

Members may not upload or share content that:

• is unlawful, misleading, defamatory or discriminatory,
• infringes the rights of third parties, including copyrights and trademarks,
• contains malware or attempts to compromise the security of the platform.

Members retain the rights to their own content but grant Rove the right to display it on the platform for the purpose of providing the service.

Rove is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence, Rove is liable only for breach of essential contractual obligations, limited to the foreseeable, typical damage. Rove is not liable for the content, quality or fulfilment of agreements concluded between members.

You may delete your account at any time. Rove may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, in particular in cases of false information, circumvention of the platform or unlawful content. Active agreements and payment obligations remain unaffected by a termination.

Rove may amend these terms with reasonable notice. If you do not object within the notice period, the amended terms are deemed accepted. We will inform you of this consequence in the change notification.

The law of the State of Florida, United States, applies, excluding conflict-of-law rules; mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected. Should individual provisions of these terms be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
